This is a continuing project I started back in or around 2015/16.
I was originally wanting to do a rule 63 of a popular computer game character, but after a while, it started to morph into its own thing with a story of its own.
The model was originally made in Zbrush, around 3 mill polygons, which I retop'd myself in Blender. Unfortunately, my laptop at the time was hitting about 3 years old and she would crash and cause all sorts of headaches slowing things down. The project went on due to me using the model as a guinea pig for the new techniques, which in the case of this model involved using Blender to make dual UV maps on one mirrored side, multiple attempts at my own skin and hair shaders, Learning to use nodes to organise a quick and easy system to apply multiple layers of textures on top of each other and finally I plan to rig the model with a mirror modifier applied. In the end, I even kept a diary of the building process for future reference.
